Thorhild Central School, located in the Hamlet of Thorhild, provides educational services to approximately 300 students in Grades K-12. Thorhild Central School is currently seeking a Secretary to Administration in charge of PowerSchool to provide technical administrative support to school administration, staff, and support for students while creating a safe, caring, welcoming, and respectful school environment. The successful person will need previous experience working in a school, preferably with knowledge of PowerSchool and PASI. A high school diploma or a high school equivalency diploma is required.
This position requires extensive knowledge of related computer data-based applications and experience working in a positive team environment. As the first point of contact with the school, receptionist services, answering telephone inquiries, and directing visitors as needed are paramount. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal oral/written communication skills, demonstrate flexibility, and work well with students and adults. The current salary range is from $19.74 to $26.10 per hour for 35 hours/week based on education and experience.
