Aspen View Public Schools, with a division office located in the town of Athabasca, is a rural school division providing diverse and innovative programming to students in a number of communities.

Many schools within Aspen View are geographically located to allow beginning teachers to meet the requirements of the Northern Student Teacher Bursary and/or Northern Alberta Development Council bursaries

Thunderbird Landing School provides educational services to approximately 6 FNMI students aged 12-18. This position will include, but is not limited to, planning and delivering an inclusive education based on Individual Education Program Plans in collaboration with the Facility Services Staff. 

Preference will be given to candidates with training and knowledge in Trauma Informed Practice and Indigenous Education. Training and experience in junior/senior high programming is required.
